Route description Lavender Villa

From Cape Town airport to Lavender Villa
Street address: 40 Turquoise Way, Noordhoek

• Follow N2 direction Cape Town
• Turn off to the left after 10-15 minutes direction Muizenberg M3 (exit 6)
This turn off is near Rhodes Memorial/University of Cape Town and there is a lot of construction going on at this point so take it slow! If you end up driving past a large hospital (Groote Schuur) on your right, you have gone too far.
• Once on the M3 you should see a Windmill on your left and the University of Cape Town on your right. Stay on that road – you will go past Constantia and Tokai. Don’t leave the M3 until you run into a mountain!
• At the end of the M3 is a T-junction and a set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right but try to stay the left hand lane. You will pass Westlake Business Park and a large Virgin Active sign on your right.
• After a few minutes you will see a branch off to your left marked ‘Ou Kaapseweg’ – this road take you over the mountain and into Noordhoek.
• You will pass Silvermine Reserve on your right at the top of the mountain, and will start to descend on the other side.
• After 10 minutes or so you will go through a dip, and you will see you first opportunity to turn right. Take this turn to the right onto Silvermine Road towards Noordhoek.
• After less than 5 minutes, take the third road to your right called Haven Drive which is easy to spot because it has a white wall at the turn into the road. (The first right is the retirement village Paddock Ave, second right is Opal Rd and third right is Haven Drive).
• You will pass a small wooden security (ADT) hut on your right. Continue directly up that road into the paved yellow/red brick pan-handle driveway ahead of you. The number 40 is small but visible on the rock next to the driveway.
• This is the entrance to Lavender Villa!
